Consensual Enslavement

Shamanism, Alchemy And Chemistry

In my studies of consensual enslavement and Slavery and how people do it I found a useful way to break up the knowledge of how to do it into three areas. Shamanism, Alchemy and Chemistry are the terms I use because they are a historical progression of knowledge from what could be called magic to science.

Shamanism is based on passed down ritual and the idea that if you do certain things, the gods, spirits, forces or whatever will make something happen combined with some knowledge of, if you put certain ingredients together the same way each time they will produce a certain, hopefully useful, effect. So, you know if you do X you will probably get Y unless some unknown thing is preventing Y from happening. When it doesn't happen, it was the will of whatever that it didn't happen or evil whatever that prevented it from happening. Everything was created pretty much by trial and error and finding out what happens.

Shamanism is a precursor to alchemy. Alchemy is often considered the beginning of science as we now know it and is the direct ancestor of chemistry. Alchemy is much more than what most people think about when they hear the term which is turning lead into gold. It is about making new things out of other things and their transformations from one state to another. It was also about the transformation of the alchemist but I am not directly including that side of it here. Alchemists knew that if certain steps were repeated exactly right they would achieve the same results every time. That is science as we have it now. They didn't always know why things worked the way they did and came up with some very interesting reasons why things worked and even more about the properties of materials, but you could give someone else a formula and they could duplicate your work.

Alchemy became chemistry as we learned more about elements, molecules and the real nature of the chemicals the alchemists worked with and how the underlying atomic nature of those things exists. Once the concepts of atomic bonds and molecular structures was created, better predictions of chemical reactions could be made and when experiments proved, or disproved those assumptions, we learned more about how things worked below the obvious level. Other useful information such as molecular weights and even the periodic table of elements increased how we understood the materials chemists worked with and how they interacted with each other.

One of the key tenets of science is that to be science, something must be repeatable by someone else. If it is not, it is not science. How does this sequence apply to consensual enslavement besides how I happen to envision it? I believe they fit pretty well the stages of most people's knowledge and practice of training a slave.

With the shamanistic approach you have no clue why the spirits favored you that time and what you tried worked, it just did. So, you do it again and it worked again? Wonderful! Now you know how to do it. You learn from someone else how to do something and you try and it works too. Even better! Now you really know what you are doing. You do things and they work. Except the next time it doesn't and you have no clue why. Ahh, there must be some evil outside influence keeping it from working. Now, do you do it again and expect it to work or do you try something else to counter the evil influence? If it works, you were the stronger force. If it doesn't, you must find some way to propitiate the spirits so that it will work again. You still have no clue why it worked or didn't. It should have worked. The shamanism level is the art of enslavement, not the science of enslavement and mastery.

Shamanism is the level of people who either assume their innate dominance is sufficient to know how to train a slave or who learn a few things that work for other people and that work most of the time for them. This is where most people are. They do things, they work, they keep doing them. They learn something new, they try it, it works or it doesn't and they do it again or don't. Unless someone was specifically taught by someone else how to do consensual enslavement and Slavery, which are very few and do not include myself, this is where they started. This is also where most people stop. I will say that most people are probably quite happy to be where they are and see no need to change.

When you go to the next or alchemy level, you start paying attention to the details and fine points of what is working and start to learn why. This is often where people start using techniques from other disciplines such as animal training, psychology, the military as well as trying to find out how other people do things that work for them. They even try to create new ways of creating enslavement or reinforcing it in someone after thinking about how it might work. It is a different mindset for the trainer and especially anyone who thinks about training. They are not just doing but planning and watching to see what happens and especially, thinking about it before and after doing whatever they try. It is the thinking about why that differentiates alchemy from shamanism. When something doesn't work you try to find out why and see if you can find another way around the specific block rather than just trying something else. It is much closer to a science than an art. Much of what is being done is still based on guesswork and some basic assumptions and information, but now there is a knowledge base to use to improve on the guesswork and on planning things which will probably work and fixing those which don't work. This is where almost everyone who doesn't fit in the shamanistic level stop because it works. It can work very well and most people stop when they have something which works repeatedly.

The third, or chemistry level is science. It can and does literally involve chemistry, biology, neurology and many other fields and -ologies. It also includes everything that has gone before. At this level, you ask questions such as, "How does the oxytocin hormonal cascade show a mechanism for the operation of capture bonding?" Or, "What is the neurological mechanism for increasing the speed of short term to long term memory storage with increased priority for implanting semiotic important memes?" Or even, "What is the effect of ovulation on pheromone responsiveness and how can I make use of it?"

This goes to areas beyond enslavement to the biology and neurobiology of humans. It is how things really work at levels beyond what we might consider our direct control and into the place where they give out PhDs and Nobel prizes for science. This is absolutely where most people do not want to go. It is where enslavement, reinforcement and what we do or is done to us happens. It is where the implantation of triggers or the changes of how someone thinks of themselves in relation to others happens. It is where Adler meets Maslow meets the road. It is where and why things happen.

When you start to understand how some of these things happen at this level, what you do is refined and can become very repeatable. It also becomes very dangerous in the aggregate to the person you are doing it to. When you know how things happen and the more you know about them, the more powerful your techniques become, even if they are exactly the same thing that is done at the shamanistic level. They just work and you know why they work, at least most of the time. When they don't, you can isolate factors that are inhibiting them and change just enough to get past those problems or shift to something else that you know will get past whatever the problem is.

I am not saying that you must go to the chemistry level to own and master a slave. You don't. I will say you should go into at least some of the alchemy level if you want to do it well and especially if you wish to concentrate on the training of consensual enslavement. Mastery and the techniques of enslavement are learned knowledge and skills. Like any other skill, the more you learn the better you will be at it.

In the Tools section I differentiate various tools into the three traditional guild levels of apprentice, journeyman and master. These correspond directly to shamanism, alchemy and chemistry. As I state there, the Master will use the same tools the apprentice uses, they will just use them better and more efficiently.
